“Introduction to Commercial Real Estate”
will be held this Saturday, April 28, 2012 at 9:30 am at the NYREI. This class will be taught by Steve Landfield,
Vice-President of the new Commercial Division at Nest Seekers International,
and a long-term commercial real estate instructor at the NYREI. The class is approved for 7.5 hours of continuing
education credit.
This class will examine and explore the various types of
commercial real estate, and identify the things real estate professionals need
to know in order to competently work in the commercial area. Discussion topics will
include the various types of commercial leases, a lengthy presentation on negotiating
the business terms of leases and getting paid your commission; the process of
locating commercial properties for various clients, the important features
clients look for, and the process of showing the property. In the same
context, we will also examine the process of investment sales of commercial and
mixed use buildings.
This course is ideal for residential agents looking to learn
about the commercial real estate field, or for anyone interested in learning
the basics of commercial real estate.
